What is Y2Y?
Youth 2 Youth: Partners 4 Peace (Y2Y) is a student-led initiative with the purpose of promoting peace on Job Corps centers and in our communities. Y2Y encourages students to:
• Discuss violence and bullying
• Learn how peers have been affected by violence
• Empower one another to prevent violence and aggression
• Explore solutions for the future
• Share stories and engage communities in the conversation
With the current state of violence in our communities, promoting peace among young people is extremely important. Our Y2Y Student Ambassadors can help inspire change on center with fellow Job Corps students and in their communities with community organizations and leaders. Your support and commitment to the issue are important.
